UCI College of Health Sciences will become a globally recognized model for Integrated Health through a patient-centered and science-based approach that will span patient care, research, clinical trials & education. The role of data analytics and data science in the advancement of health science research, the rethinking of educational approaches, and the translation of insights into high-quality patient care is existentially important to the vision for the College of Health Sciences and UCI Health. The initiative will organize and make available health-related data to researchers by building a data platform to enable seamless collaboration among health sciences researchers, data scientists, clinicians and health care providers, patients and clients, community stakeholders, learners, and industry partners that will propel UCI to a world-leading informatics and data science enterprise.
