• Structured methods for process improvement
  • Organizational Readiness Assessment - a quick assessment to determine if the organization is ready to support an A3 process improvement
  • Problem Solving A4 Template: a tool for individuals or teams to use to suggest solutions for simple problems
  • Problem Solving A3 Template (PPT): a method for solving complex problems for which you do not know the root causes (e.g., turnover is high but we do not know why)
  • Problem Solving A3 Template (PDF): alternate format for solving complex problem for which you do not know the root causes
  •  Strategy Development A3 Template: a method for implementing simple or complex strategies
• Action item trackers
  • Action Items Tracker - Complex: useful for most complex projects, although it may also be helpful to use Microsoft Project
  • Action Items Tracker - Moderate: a general tool that can also be used to provide project status to leaders
  • Action Items Tracker - Simple: for small projects/changes that can be managed through emails, e.g. copying and pasting the table and sending it to a group after a meeting to keep track of who agreed to do what

  • Change Adoption Campaign – Simple - this simple tool helps you think through what channels, message, and audience your change might impact
  • Situation-Target-Proposal decision-making tool: a simple method for thinking through a proposal or project and organizing it in a way that facilitates decision-making with a leader
  • Staffing Resource Assessment: a tool to assessment your organization’s resources – who, what they do, when they do it, how long does it take, etc.
  • Stakeholder Master List: keep track of everyone who is involved with or may be impacted by your project/change
  • Survey Construction Guide - a guide for constructing surveys, including general tips, types of questions, and examples
  • Yellow belt LSS Tools - a collection of tools for conducting lean six sigma projects, including: time observation sheets, DOWNTIME waste analysis, spaghetti diagrams, and fishbone template.
